Or rather not photographing it…
I need tips on photography! Anyone ever made a lightbox? How do other people do it? I got lots of new stuff but…no photos!

I’m going to start giving classes again! Click HERE for info.
The only thing I am nervous about is leaving Jellybean for three hours–in other words, my first students might need to be tolerant of Jack appearing mid-lesson with a screaming baby in his arms!

I am looking for someone to work with me this summer! I have had two apprentices in the past, one was in her first year of college and one was a professor at Cornell–both were fantastic! The way it has worked in the past is I give a mini lesson on a skill (texture earrings) and then I have the person practice it. They get to keep something (a pair of earrings they made) and I keep the rest of the components. I get an extra hand and they get free classes and free jewelry!!! Interested? Apply now!

My craigslist ad:
Independent Studio jeweler and teacher looking for an apprentice interested in learning in exchange for fun work. Anywhere from 2-8 hours a week.
You would have to be a good personalty match, flexible, trustworthy, and detail oriented as well as eager to learn. A high school or college age woman has worked best in the past. Contact me to apply! References required.

After agonizing over it (really! hahhaha–the things I lose sleep over!), I have decided to skip out on Market tomorrow in in favor of spending time with my extended family at Stewart Park. I am one of those loyal Ithacans who just can’t get enough of Ithaca Festival!!! See you there!

Travel Earrings with Silver Spacer, Turquoise, and White Shell.
Although they’ve been on store shelves for a year, I am still super excited about these–and they’ve been selling great at the Market! Travel Earrings, named so by my mom who travels a lot (!), could quite honestly be the only pair of earrings you’ll ever need (but I won’t tell anyone else that because what does jewelry have to do with need anyway?) Pick a pair of Draya Designs Original Hoops and pair it with as many Charm Packs as you can use–and the possibilities are endless! Wear the hoops by themselves, with one charm, or with many! I’ll even supply the travel bag and give you a big discount on your purchase of Original Hoops and a Charm Pack ($75 for both with bag).

Original Hoops come in a variety of different textures and finishes. $60

I offer a huge variety of different sized and colored charms for sale with my Original Hoops. I offer a huge variety of different sized and colored charms for sale with my Original Hoops. Each Charm Pack is $30.
Available at Handwork and at the Sunday Market.
